Frequently asked questions

Scope, delivery and learning evidence, agreed before the session.

How long should we allow?

Training is typically 2–4 hours; workshops 1–6 hours. The task, group discussion and debrief determine the time. We agree the agenda, breaks and whether to split delivery across sessions.

An AFC Case Lab takes 90–120 minutes per group, and runs again for each group.

How far ahead do we plan?

Allow around four weeks as a starting point for bespoke delivery. Your proposal confirms the schedule.

  1. Scope the briefA 30-minute conversation about roles, subject and outcome.
  2. Agree the planExpert, agenda and sign-off at least two weeks before delivery.
  3. Prepare the materialsWithin ten working days of sign-off, with the delivery date agreed.
  4. Deliver and follow throughThe agreed post-session pack within three working days of delivery.
Can you bring teams and locations together?

Yes. Delivery can be online, at your premises or hybrid. We plan groups around roles, experience, language and operational coverage. Workshop cohorts need enough space for everyone to contribute.

Can you use our policies and cases?

We can use approved internal procedures, anonymised scenarios and your teams’ questions. We agree what can be shared, who can access it and how it will be used before preparing the session.

In an AFC Case Lab, two or three anonymised cases become one fictional customer that every group works through.

Do we need to share real cases?

They make a case lab most relevant, and they must be anonymised first. We can also build a lab from your typologies and quality-review themes alone.

Can the session include co-branded certificates and CPD accreditation?

Yes. Co-branded session certificates can feature your organisation alongside AML Certification Centre. We can also arrange CPD Standards Office accreditation for the session, subject to approval. Tell us what you need when we plan the brief; the proposal will confirm the certificate requirements, accreditation scope and any additional costs before delivery.

What does a session cost?

€3,295 per session, excl. VAT, for expert-led training or a practical workshop. A session takes up to 50 people, and we agree the group size around the exercise so everyone can contribute. Live sessions are also included in an annual programme. Your proposal confirms the audience, preparation, expert, duration and delivery format, including any travel.

An AFC Case Lab is quoted after a short brief: a preparation fee, then a fee per group.

Will a recording be available?

Where agreed with your organisation and the expert. For workshops, we consider whether recording could limit discussion or expose confidential material. Participants also receive the agreed practical notes.

How does this fit into our wider learning plan?

Use training to explain a development, a workshop to practise it and further learning to address remaining gaps. Your manager account connects the available learning records with the wider team and individual skills picture.
