These terms apply when you use our website, amlcertification.com. By using the website, you agree to them.

1. Who we are

The website is run by AML Certification Centre OÜ, an Estonian private limited company.

2. Buying from us

The website describes our programmes, membership and training. You buy them on the AML Learning Platform at learn.amlcertification.com, under its Terms of Service, which you accept when you create your account there. Those terms include your right to withdraw from a purchase and our refund rules. Organisations that buy from us under an agreement both sides have signed or accepted are covered by that agreement.

3. Using the website

You can browse the website freely and share links to its pages. Search engines and other automated tools may read it if they follow our robots.txt file and do not overload the website.

You must not:

• use the website for anything unlawful, or to send spam;
• try to gain unauthorised access to the website or the systems behind it, test it for weaknesses without our permission, or interfere with how it works;
• upload or send anything that contains malware;
• use our forms to send someone else's personal data without an appropriate lawful basis and any notice or permission the law requires, or pretend to be another person or organisation.

4. Our content

The text, images, videos, logos and other material on the website belong to us or to those who license them to us.

You may read, print and save pages for your own reference, and quote short extracts if you name AML Certification Centre as the source and link to the page. Any other copying, republishing or commercial use, including using our material to teach or train other people or to train artificial-intelligence models, needs our written permission.

Our name, our logo and the names and badges of our programmes identify our services. You may use our name and the names of our programmes to refer truthfully to us and to link to the website, and, if you hold one of our certificates, as our Certificate Policy allows. Any other use of our name, logo or badges needs our written permission, and no use may suggest that we endorse you or your organisation. Other names and logos on the website belong to their owners.

5. Information, not advice

Our articles, guides and other content give general information about anti-money laundering, financial crime and our training. They describe the law and practice as at their date and are not legal, compliance or other professional advice. Check the date of a page, and the official sources, before you act on it.

6. Links to other websites

The website links to other websites, including our learning and credential platforms. We are not responsible for the content or practices of websites we do not run.

7. Reporting illegal content

If you believe something on the website is illegal or infringes your rights, such as your copyright, or you have any other complaint about it, tell us at [email protected]. It helps us act quickly if you include:

• the address (URL) of the page and the content concerned;
• why you believe it is illegal or infringes your rights;
• your name and email address;
• a statement that you believe, in good faith, that the information in your notice is accurate and complete.

We consider every notice, including one that does not have all of these details. We will confirm that we received it, review it without undue delay and tell you what we decided.

8. Changes and availability

We may change, update or remove any part of the website, and we may change these terms. A change applies from the date shown on this page and only to later use of the website. It does not change any purchase you have made, which is governed by the terms in force when you bought. We cannot promise that the website will always be available or free of errors.

9. Our liability

The website is free to use. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss that results from using the website or from relying on its content.

Nothing in these terms limits our liability where the law does not allow it to be limited, such as for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for harm we cause intentionally or through gross negligence. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Law and disputes

These terms are governed by Estonian law. If you are a consumer, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live; you can bring proceedings in Estonia or in the courts where you live, and we can bring proceedings against you only where you live. Other disputes go to the courts of Estonia. As a consumer, you can also refer a dispute to the Estonian Consumer Disputes Committee.
